Hello all. Although I joined last July this is my first thread, sorry about the delay. For nearly 3 score years and 10 I have been riding and messing with many bikes of many manufacturers and I make a point of joining the relevant forum when I acquire a new project. I must say that I enjoy your forum and am impressed with its contents. I am sure that when I come to sort out my latest acquisition your members will be of great help. Last July I bought a 1984 CB400NC (the one with orange coloured clocks, gold wheels and fork bottoms) with low miles and in relatively good condition. The seller mentioned that it was reasonably rare but I can't verify that comment, can anyone of your members? The price was right as is the colour (red), the condition is right and the bike was sold new by a local garage to a person in my village, so I suppose its come home. I would post photos but I'm not sure how on this forum. My other bikes are a 2000 Honda CB500, a 1955 Matchless 350 G3Ls single and a 1962 650 model 31 twin. Ride safe all.

Hi Trophy, welcome along. Your NC sounds nice - would be good to see a picture. I'm rebuilding a '94 CB500R, although the way it's going, I may torch it soon!

Hello all and thanks for all your welcomes. Never used Photobucket before so I hope the pics come out OK. I live in The Green, a small village in south Cumbria halfway between Broughton in Furness and Millom. Gods own country and a bikers paradise.
