I have just bought a 30l sonic cleaner.
Not going to put it into services at the moment, but will at some point.
If anyone needs anything slightly bigger cleaned for free, then send it to me and i will clean it for nothing, that way i can try it out.
You will only pay for postage
Now then, this offer is only open to forum members with at least 50 posts or at the Administrators discretion for any less posts.
The sonic tank is a bigger one at 30 litres and has a good power with the usual 10 transducers (40khz) and 800 watts of heat.
I was going to get a bigger more powerful one, but will start with this.
I have also bought an industrial bench polisher, but more about that later.
This all means..NO MORE BUYING BIKES.
Sorry Paul...tehehehe.
Gee.

Hi ,
I've also got a large 40L capacity ultrasonic cleaner in workshop, plus capability for Bead - blasting using various Media and polishing equipment and Baking Ovens. I've bought some cheap SD parts to experiment on and will be optimizing methods over the next few months. I would be happy to let others on the Forum benefit from the equipment I have available.
I've worked as a Metallurgist for the last 30 yrs, so I might be able to put my knowledge to some use.
My passion is for the Honda Dream / Superdream 250/ 400 twins of the late70s /early 80s and if I can assist getting these bikes back on the road, then I shall be very happy.
Great Forum for enthusiasts !
Thanks All ................... Delphs.

I'm not too fussy about the finish, brush on hammerite will do fine but I need you to get all the rust off first and being it back to bare metal before you primer it. I will leave you a block and tackle chain pulley set for lifting it.
