Just a quick thought...
I wondered whether we could organise 2 meets a year one early and one late. I.e like the Welsh meet in September. It might promote the group some more, be available to different members because of other commitments etc. Plus it's very sociable and riding about in a large group gets you noticed and everybody you meet oohs and ahhs over the bikes...lol

Funny you should mention this today, Bob.
I had a dream last night (pardon the pun) that we were all in a hot country possibly Spain around a pool.....having a right laugh but oddly no bikes in sight. Weirdest thing was that we accessed the pool via a proper snowy ski-slope via a coach and taxis......which were sliding all over the show.
Some of my cousins that I have not seen for 20 years were also in the dream - it was truly bizarre but had given me an idea that we should try and meet somewhere for a drinkipoos before Chrimbo - if not before then early in the NY.
Will suggest it in meets section and get some ideas thrown around.
Sorry if this goes of tact a bit......hoping to have at least two to three meets on the Superdreams in 2015 if not more.

Next year will be the 30th anniversary of when the last UK Superdreams were registered. Has to be a special year for the bikes.

Did we have a map of where everyone is on the map- seem to remember it was mentioned? Use this to fix a central place for the main meet so it's good for the most amount of people. Fix a date so we can put it in the diary now and organise the rest of our lives around it. I'd love to see 20 plus SD's out on a run....

Hi, The meets should be all parts of the country to give all members a chance to meet up , guys remember wots its like riding these bikes for 4 1/2 hours home from the wales meet , I was well knackered after the ride home, The bike was well capable of doing the ride but my body aint.. but saying that I would still ride it a distance again ,

I think you are looking at 2 meets- Northern and a Southern. Spring and Summer? Some will get to both, most will head for the nearest. I do agree anything over 75-100 miles you may as well club together and spend 50 quid on a van for the weekend and put 3 bikes and members in it. But for some it's the ride to the meet that is part of the experience. Not for me as to get anywhere fast you need to plough along motorways and dual carriageways to cover the distance- not my kind of riding.
I've got some logistics software that would suggest central points if members supplied just their postcodes.....

1, 2 and 3 hours riding for you.... Middle of nowhere! I don't fancy the 3 hour ride , looks like you may need a snorkel.
