Just heard (by chance) the 30 year anniversary Band Aid '30' song......and I think that compared to the original it is not great, just does not have the exciting vibe that the 1984 tune had.....
The 1980's truly was a great time......for bikes and for music (but of course not everything).... I am glad we knew these times.

Sorry Nick - I didnt like the song the first time it came out, nor the second......or any time after that....
I doubt I am going to like it this time either!!!!!

I find the original festive now to be honest. The new one I have not heard yet.

It's far too early for Christmas songs, by the middle of December I'm already sick of listening to them.

I can relate to that Cheggs I've not enjoyed Christmas for 25 years (the time I've worked for Tesco ) its our busy time of year it never stops and as a result I only get Christmas eve and Christmas day off cos I work nights when I was on days and afters I only got Christmas day off so I think I'm entitled to say "Bah, Humbug"

Festive claptrap, usual overrated hype playing on everyones conscience, hated band aid first time round and if Bob Cratchet was relying on me to put dinner on the table at Christmas he would still be waiting, Glad when its all over and back to normality. Still I know im a sad old git but its great to be controversial and so PC incorrect.

Yeah.... I agree it's too early - but I think I was just saying how 80's tunes are always more superior. But I got a load of miserable twats whinging - and that's fine....glad you all let off steam on my watch.

The thing is that because of all the commercialism over the past 20 years and the constant crap churned out by X Factor etc, the mere mention of Christmas before December makes my skin crawl. I reckon more people dislike Christmas nowadays than actually like it. (Excluding the kids obviously)
