Brilliant - clever ads the VW ones were in the 1980's / 1990's.
What was the one that had the Blubells (Young at Heart) theme behind it?
It was probably the one where the woman has split up with her husband and was getting shot of everything - hanging her mink coat on the parking meter etc .......but looked at the GTI and couldn't bear to part with it....

The one I was on about featured Paula Hamilton. It must have had another tune associated with it.
