Some people just want to be different /-: it will make it harder to sell like that but if owner wanted it that way then fair play it's certainly different But how can that look nice, Rich?
I accept the point - but surely if someone wants to be different then they should be different.
This is just a classic cock up methinks. If I got on that bike my natural instinct would be to try and select a reverse gear (with my right foot) and ride it backwards.
No Nick your right in no way does it look nice lets just be thankful MR Honda had a bit of taste & made a fantastic job with the styling of this bike I reckon whoever put those decals on must have been on something very strong for weeks shame as it looks a clean bike , I really like that colour

My 400n is identical to this one except I only have the thin Decals, mine is 1980 reg as it is an import from the UK and actually looks cleaner than the one in the photo above, and mine is electric start only. Just wondering dons any know is there anything of particular interest with this model and how does it rate among the other SD400's ?

It's a CB400NA by the sound of it.
Rates as good as the rest. I like the fact there's variety across the breed.
My personal favourite scheme on the 400's is the silver 1978/9 kickstart model.
But iny opinion they all look fantastic.

No- I had a very expensive kit made up by someone who does this for a hobby. I supplied photos of my bike for accuracy, this was the result. The piece of sellotape has to stay on because it brings the sidepanel decals off if you attempt to remove it....
