Hey folks! Joined up here to glean some knowledge for some forthcoming rebuilds... A good mate of mine bought his late uncle's SD about 10 years ago. It was the first 'big' bike he rode about on, and when I passed my test, he even insured me on it too! Great introduction to bikes, but soon gets overlooked for the faster things in life. Now, quite a few years later, we both have our own houses and garages, so we're looking for projects. We spot a job lot on ebay, a deal is done and a van booked. 24 hours and 975 miles in a van, and we are the proud owners of 3 and a half, non-running (yet) Superdreams  Aiming to get 2 restored and back to full working order, 3rd may become some type of cafe racer, the final half will just be for spares.. You can most likely expect quite a few questions from me over the winter months. Cheers, Matt |
