I have a new ignition switch for a SD,think it's a pattern one but I haven't got a key for it.No number stamped on it like ones on my bikes and other keys I have won't go in(i can put other keys in the other switches they just won't turn)Wonder if this one is duff if not where/how would I get key for it

You need a locksmith mate, they can cobble a key for that.

Tried locksmiths and couple bike dealers no joy,but I have done a bit of soldering on the old one and been successful it not works,anyone want a new ignition- minus key?

A lifetime of being careful(tight) won't let me waste £15 on a new switch :)I have every faith in my soldering
