Nothing to do with a superdream, but I am hoping to sprint an aircooled GSX1100ET next year. The front alloy wheel is very heavy. Was wondering what a comstar would weigh. I did have an alloy spoked Comstar off a MT125 on a previous dragbike. Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks. Is that wheel disc and tyre? No , it's to replace a heavy stock suzuki wheel on a sprintbike. What size are the bearings, please?

Just weighed a front reverse comstar off a 250NDB, complete with disc and tyre almost exactly 12kg. Earlier comstar weighed exactly 11kg. Not what I expected....

Guess the wider 2.15 rims needed for tubeless added weight. So comstars were the same as early alloy wheels- actually heavier although the sales pitch was that they were lighter. And this was actually a load of b****cks- Honda 250NDB advert...
