Hi Burt, welcome. "My Superdream is currently off the road with carburetor trouble" A familiar story on here; at least it means plenty of advice is available!

My Superdream is currently off the road with carburetor troubles. Hope to get it back up and running soon. Hello to all on the forum. Not the first time i have heard that statement either and guess whit.....same here. Welcome. Gee But now studying you=tube, going to try and do it myself, couldn't do any worse that the clown i let try! Heres a Q...when putting the carbs back onto the rubbery thingies that are onto the head......the rubbery thingies should they be sealed onto the head with a sealant or just placed against them and tightened? Gee again.

I've refitted the rubbery things on both my 250 & 400 with no sealant & no apparent ill effects, Gee. That's over 2 years & about 5,000 miles for the 250.
Edit - Miss-read post, was thinking of airbox! Definitely no sealant elsewhere on the carbs.
