Struck lucky with parts, new shocks for £20,genuine brake pads with pins for £2.50, gaskets for pennies & wheel bearings. Chain was recycled from my cbf after it had done 40,000 miles of service, sprockets are original.......

It would have originally reassembled something like this......thought it was a yank tank the moment I clocked the extra ID.

That single front disc is it larger than the one on the 250

Thanks for all the comments , front brake is the same as the 250 and has no problem stopping the old girl, caliper got an overhaul with new seals but the piston is original, master cylinder was a dave silver replacement. Front mudguard is original item,little bit scabby but better looking than an aftermarket replacement.

Those master cylinders from Silvers do look like a bargain - how've you found the quality of it to be like?
