In fact single disc and dream clocks too. What's the story with this one, Stu? I'd be interested in the story of this bike too? I spotted the early paintwork, lack of kickstart and any side reflectors at all- but completely missed the single disc!

Is it a hawk from the states possibly?
Not the tank set but it looks to have an extra frame ID badge on the LHS too.

It certainly has Hawk instruments (the same as CB250T) and hi-rise bars.........

Always good to hear ive caused a bit of confusion,hehe, it's an american hawk model which only had a single disc & as Greybeard pointed out has got the clocks that where fitted to the dream,also check out the gear lever (no linkage,just direct fitment), originally had round chrome indicators as well, bodywork was purchased by me as the original tank was rotted out & the sidepanels had broken lugs. Bike was purchased from the importers by a cousin of mine who unfortunately passed away, the bike had been standing outside for 10 years when i got given it, first point of call for me before i did to much was to get it running, the stator & pick ups had corroded away to a lovely pile of white dust !!!!, replacements where fitted & it started up on the second hit of the button. She runs a treat,maybe a little rattly & the top speed seems to top out at about 90, not to worried about that though,possibly geared differently ?. I never had the intention of doing an immaculate restoration,just a sympathetic job to be used as an everyday workhorse, the suzuki in the photo is the showroom jobby. This is how it started out ....................

Oh, & when it did start up it blew the ends out of the silencers !!! ,& it's still got the original collector box (slightly repaired,ahem)

I can see the gear-change now....this is because the footpegs are further forward on the Hawk compared to the Euro SD's.
The rear brake pedal is much longer too............
