Hi. Yes it is certainly different, but I have always thought that diesel is good for lorries, vans and tractors. Good old petrol for bikes and cars. I have to admit though that some modern diesels perform well and you can't beat them for economy. Mike.

American army now uses diesel motorbikes, it's because they only have to carry one type of fuel.

I personally would love to have / build and ride about on a big diesel motorbike don't ask why but I've fancied one for years one day may be.
