Hello, my '78 CB250N has been sorned for the last 18 months or so, just got it back on the road at the beginning of August. Had been occasionally (very occasionally!) checking posts in the Superdream Forum when to my surprise the link went to a deleted page. A quick google has lead me here and so here I am signing up for a new account in order to get my Superdreamin' fix. This was my bike when I first got it a few years ago, looked quite tidy but underneath it was in need of lots of TLC. It was my cousins CB250N back in 1978 that was the first motorbike I had a go on (around a factory car park) at the age of 14, of course from that moment on I wanted one! Many years later I saw this one advertised and couldn't resist it, though I always intended to return it to its original colour, just like my cousin's. This is it now after a strip down, repaint, many new parts and lots of polishing. No its not fully original, many aftermarket parts I admit so it may not be the purists cup of tea, but I like it. The fork gaiters have now gone though you'll be glad to hear!! Anyway that's my introduction over, good to be back.
TT

Hi TT, glad you found your way here too. The bike looks terrific - I've got the same much maligned front mudguard. I eventually plucked up enough courage to hack a chunk off the support bracket & lower it 'tll the welds where the bracket is attached to the blade were just clearing the tyre.

Thanks for the welcome back guys. Graham, yes still riding around North Walsham. There is another S'dream riding around here, have spotted it a couple of times outside Sainsbury's, is it one of the members on here?
Also there is a red CM250 (X reg) in Norwich, I think the owner works at Norwich Instrument Services.
Its gonna take a while to read through the many postings and find my way around the new forum.
Ride safe, TT.
