Caveman if you want to put bar mirrors on when I done mine I found a solid bar in the end of the handlebars which did not leave enough room for the raw plug type fitment that comes with them, so my mate welded the appropriate size nut in the end of the bar it's a much better job to.
And as for your bike running with pod filters as I have on my 400 so I can't suggest jet sizes, but I can tell you I have gone up one size on the main and on the primary jet but I have also cut my motad exhaust in half and removed the baffles it runs perfect loads more torque apart from on very high revs it starts to splutter a little but there's no way are my going to ride it that hard so after lots of money spent on 1 complete jet kit which was total shite lots of jets I'm sticking to how it is now but one tip for you before you buy any jets is to put small washers under the needles to pick them up a bit try one then 2 etc until you get the best results, if it starts ok and ticks over and runs ok on the lower revs you will prob get away with your primary jets what's as they are but you might need to play with the mixture screws a little good luck.

Cheers Steve, I fitted Renthal bars so no plugs in the end, I will be going the same route with the nuts.
I got the pods as a kit specifically for the 250n with +1 jets, and spacers to lift the needles. I have also added a couple of washer as you suggest but no improvement. Think I'm missing something
