Hi people, I'm Gary from the Isle of Wight, I've got a black 250 superdream which is a bit of a mish mash of deluxe and standard parts. Its not going to be a restoration, just going to get it to be my kind of bike :-)
Fingers crossed the restoration die-hards can accept me just because I appreciate the sd's for what they are :-)

Welcome Gary my first intentions were to just to tidy up my SD but the more I see of some of the bikes on here I start thinking well maybe I'll replace this and I've found myself lusting after NOS. be careful it can be catching. |

Cheers for the greetings guys. I have thought that maybe late summer I might start a light restoration on it. I've another bike in the shed that will want to come out to play when its warm.
I've wanted another superdream for years, and up until a few years ago, my first one was the longest i'd owned one particular bike. I change my mind a lot. I kept my first SD for 3 years. My other bike, ive had for 6 years now.

Welcome Gary. Nice to have old blood and new blood along. Please don't get hung up about originality. I'm known to be anal about having original bikes but the most important thing is that you get whatever you want out of your Superdream - that is whatever brings you the most pleasure. I'm liking the look of your bike in the avatar. Wherever you are and whatever you do on your SD, please keep us updated. Welcome indeed. |
