I think it would look great on the right bike, but that would be something very different to the stock colours - perhaps an off white bike with the early tank stripe? or maybe sky blue bike?
I would buy it Nick if I were you, but only of you were going "off track" with something like that.
PS - Does anyone remember the guy who used to post (in another place) and did a great version of the SD in white ? - As i remember it came out of dealing with the loss of his dad and he put his energy into the bike for a few months - I can't find any pics of it online put I think it had the white version of the standard seat (the one you can buy on fleabay)

Anyway.....back to the seat. No response from the frogs French specialists as yet.........I asked if it's right for the early cowl. I think I may have confused the heck out of them.
