In fact - the more I look at the rear of the white one, it looks like the bottom section is longer.
Can anyone else see that?

I think if it was cheaper I'd go for it......
Especially when you consider that my 250N would look so so sexy with this on and the Invader fairing together......
Imagine the girls outside the chip shop in Wales......they would be in awe of me.
Got to stop dreaming........ho hum...

And very slightly temped......although not 100%.
There was a time when I would never dream of buying anything like this for my Super Dream......but period accessories are now starting to grow on me a little.
What do we think. What it look cool gracing my silver 1979 250N................or would it be a major fail in this colour ?
Honest opinions if you would.

Like Steve said above its your bike Nick what other people think is'nt really important do you think I'd have a green bike if I worried like this and as for the tailpiece if you are fitting a non standard seat then you are justified in fitting a non standard tail as well ,I think having a bit of a custom bike would do you good if you don't like it later you can allways sell it on or stick it on the rack with your helmets its up to you Nick
And yes the white seat is longer if you count the stiched panels on the white one it has 14 sections the black one SteveGBR posted only has 13

Those panels would leave me to believe that this is for the earlier model?

I agree with Cheggy Nick... Dont like them, never did and never will. But love the colour, would suit a pin stripe in blue or black. Were these not built for stream-linning? Dont quite see the point on a bike that will struggle to hit 80 for the 250 or 100 for the 400. Gee.
