Has anyone used the exhaust clamps from silvers ? Are they any good or would it be better to use the old scruffy ones ?
Also has anyone tried the downpipes from silvers? Again , any good? And while Im asking i may as well ask about the collector gaskets , any good?

I got a pair for the down pipe connection, along with Silver's down pipes. I used a pair of stainless clamps left over from another job for the silencer joint. I got my seals from Wemoto & used one of those hollow pattern collector boxes. Silvers clamps were ok, as were the down pipes, which haven't blued yet (about 400 miles). The pipes & silencers were a tight fit - I had to shave off some of the seal. This could be down to the Wemoto seals, But I've heard others have had the same problem & it's the pattern downpipes that are too wide at the joint. Either way, it was an easy fix.

Original , double skinned downpipes just have to be better. I saw some replica pipes that were that very cheap, shiney almost blue chrome that begins dropping off within weeks(like those really cheap Spanners that come from places like Aldi.
