A while ago I bought a powdercoated CB250N frame from a guy who had given up taking it any further. He was up-country and was a former member of another board that you all may remember. I bought it on the basis of pics only and to be fair it is everything he said it was - proper job. I now have the V5 in my name. But..when i got the delivery it came with a jiffy bag in which there is a cr*ppy vin plate that looks nothing like the plate on my other SD. I have found these guys who can provide copy plates but would be interested to know if anyone else has dealt with this issue. www.vin-plate.co.uk/

They don't stamp them but will sell you a punch kit to do them yourself.

Hello Richard, i sold the frame to you, i bought the replacement vin plate you have from the company in your link and from what i remember it is a Superdream Vin plate, i think i also had the frame number engraved on it ? Can you place a pic of it in your reply ? I was perplexed as to how to get the rest of the bike information on the plate, but decided it would be best to also get that information engraved and then to fill the engraving with black paint and varnish it alternatively you could use one of these www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140867307654?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D140867307654%26_rdc%3D1I hope you don't feel i pulled a fast one that wasn't my intention at all, if you want i will reimburse you the price of the vin plate ( i think in total it was £15.00 ) via paypal. Regards Phil
