Lost count of how many I had Gaz.From my first,a Daytona yellow mk 1 facelift 1600GT that I upped to a tuned 2 litre through several mk3 (I know technically there never was an official mk3 but you know what I mean!)2.0s',2.8 and 2.8 specials to my beautiful E reg 280(number 663 of the 1037 made) . The twin cam was a truly great conversion as it shed a lot of front end weight and as a consequence handled way better than a V6 engined capri. I reckon ,all told, I had over 20,often several at a time . I was an active member of The Capri Club International and once ebay began ran a lucrative business "recycling" Capri parts -hence the Caprinix moniker!I still watch the classified for a good , late, 2.0s, that is sound of body, that I could stick a "twink" in! Yep,Capris are "my" motors! Then of course there were the Hillman Imps before the Capri bug bit......but thats another story ;-) Nix
