Used to love the Rockford files as a kid, mainly because I used to watch it with my Dad. Remember Rockford almost always got beat up in every episode. Much like life in general then!

Lets face it James Garner was just a dude, especially as Jim Rockford, always a laconic come back, always hanging around with hot women, always drove a cool car (I had a Camaro for abit, just cos it looked like Rockfords Pontiac!),with a barmy dad and shady mates it was unmissable- I can still recite his ansa phone msg now!!! Been thinking and I cant come up with a film that he made that wasn't pure genius. A sad loss, and I suppose another reminder that time waits for no man SO GET ON YOUR BIKES AND RIDE LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW!
