Paint is on and one coat of laquer im picking up decals on wed then its back to seal them with more laquer. . Im a bit worried about putting on the decals in case I make a horlics of it..

Make sure you put the decals on with the tank in situ on the bike, use a drop of washing up liquid in the water in your spray bottle, spray the decal and the tank and go for it, you will have time to slide the decal exactly where you want it then use a flexible spreader to gently iron out any water bubbles, good luck

Looking good, what have you used as engine paint? I used b&q silver barbecue paint but finish was very flat looking alought it was nice and bright. It looked as though it would dirty easily so I put a few coats of hycote hi temp gloss laquer over it . The finish is quite good but it dulled down the btight silver look. Its gonna take a good couple of spins to cure the paint properly. ...Any excuse cant wait...
