Took today of to chill and take it easy as work has been busy recently. How restful was it ... It wasn't he he he. But I managed to get my New avon on DL Runner :-) So that's the pair fitted by my fair hands with some levers, cups of tea, and perseverance. That left me with the 2 tires sat in the hallway that had to go on DRV (seller). Well what could i do, the weather was good so I fitted those buggers too. Whilst the front wheel was off DRV I decided it would be a good idea to put fresh oil in the forks due to lack of damping. So out came the forks. In between all of this the missus wanted to go out to lunch .... which was very nice..... for me a nice steak chilli burger Any way drained the forks, rinsed them out with some good oil (i didn't fancy a complete strip and clean). Then the cat brings a baby rabbit home for us, by this time its 18.30, so the missus phones the vet, and its a trip down there to get bugs bunny checked over for damage. All was well and they said to just take it to field and release it. So we did ... it might still die of shock, but we did what we could. Managed to tread in some dog shit in the field , that couldn't be more me if it tried. Got home, Refilled the shocks and fitted them. Then popped the wheel back in. So now both bikes have good shoes :-) Now time to rest lmao

Yet another tyre ordered my pump broke during the fitting of my tyres, luckily it was whilst i was inflating the tyres on the bike i dont use. Well I was pleased to buy a nice new footpump today, which is very nice.... but ........ and there is always a but ........ inflating my front tyre I noticed small perishing cracks opening up in the side wall. Well i can't let it go like that. Got the cheapest one i could find as i'll be moving it on. found a Mitas for £33 so not too bad.
