Just opened this months credit card bill expecting to a no transactions and I have a paypal payment for £250!!! Some one has purchased an iPad on my account somehow, the invoice shows a delivery address in Portsmouth ( a visit was planned) but when I googled the guys name and address it seem the scam has been used before!! The credit card company have said they will cancel the card and send a new one and refund the £250 but i can't get through to Paypal to get it sorted, I am on the phone now and have been for 20 minutes already....thank god its a free phone number..........

After 35 minutes on the phone, most of it waiting, Paypal will refund the money to my card and bar the IP address of the hacker for ever and the address used to set up the fraudulent account.
I did point out that they had already committed the fraud before and their banning process did not work but it fell on deaf ears.
Now onto the company that carried out the transaction to see if I can get £250 from them too....if I'm lucky (which I am not) I could be up £750 by the end of tomorrow!!!

PayPal will refund to the card that was used, it will then show up as a refund. Your card supplier isn't gonna be so daft to fall for it.

I think they hacked the password which I am trying to change, very difficult, to a new alpha numeric one that is completely different!
Cheggy I can only dream that this lot will refund me money I didn't spend and make me better of, of course in reality I am never that lucky!!
