Black & white telly with only 3 channels and national anthem when programmes finished ,the banans splits show , fish & chips in proper old newspaper ,go carts with planks and pram wheels , making skateboards out of old roller skates ,me mams lardy chips and bacon & tomatos with my dads home grown tomatos , my steyr puch chopper and dangling my feet in river while eating ice cream with my mates oh and Linda Lusardi ;D Sent from my GT-S5839i using proboards

gobstoppers bazzooka joes (chewing gum) sour grapes, chewing gum 3 crisp flavours ready salted, salt and vinegar, cheese and onion saturday was salad day (for some reason mum cut the bread and butter into triangles on salad days) on hot days the pitch on the cobbles used to bubble, (we used to make pitch balls, the bigger the better) white dog s..t was pretty common izal toilet paper

Saturday morning pictures, jubly's , jamboree bags, trolley buses , milk round at weekend, Red Rovers , Hornby train sets, jiggers and scraped knees, Yard bikes with cow horn handle bars. fishing in streams for red throat sticklebacks, loach and bull heads . .... I could go on
