It rained all day yesterday, but today the sun made an appearance just in time for another VMCC road run. And a different selection of bikes today, except for us - still not on the SD, so it was the RSs again

I do like these, Gill had one back in the day

and my first motorbike was one of these back in 1967

and this bike used to belong to forum member Bodie

Gee.

Yep, belt drive. Gill used hers for daily commute & thought the belt drive would mean freedom from chain lubrication, but found the bike a bit gutless and changed it for a GPX250. Here she is all set for the return journey from Scotland back to Essex. Looks like she was expecting it to be wet - somethings were the same 40 years ago!
