Hi guys, just a thought for discussion. In a nutshell we all have bits and bobs of extras from SDs that we think we are saving for our next project but the years run away with us. We also spend far too much chasing what should be reasonably priced second hand parts.
what’s anyone’s thought about creating a ‘swap shop’ page? For example. I have spare carbs and need indicators. I have spare wheels and need ….. etc. ( I do have a spare set of the gold wheels. ) I have lots of little spares like the odd hand grip, rectifier, chain guards etc. we can post pictures of donor bikes etc and see what anyone wants off them for swaps or indeed just the parts themselves. I hate waste and like to help people as I’ve had so much help on here.
Obviously we would need some guidelines/rules but the last thing I want to do is throw something out or let it just get lost when someone else has had to buy one.
I appreciate I’m not a moderator/staff member etc so not sure of the issues it may throw up. Any thoughts?

What condition are your gold wheels?
How good a condition do you need the indicators? Like new or used?

Sorry mate I thought I’d replied. (Too much cider) I checked and unfortunately only the front wheel is gold. Rear one silver. They are on my donor bike so will go at the weekend where it’s in my mates lock up and photograph them for you. I’ll take pics anyway so people can see if they want any bits.
used indicators are fine. 👍

I have found 3 good genuine complete ones so far, took an hour. There are more in a box somewhere, this is what I had to fight my way through.....red boxes at the end, one of them, checked the ones I could reach. All with Stanley lenses.    |

Great Aladdin’s cave mate. Love the Simoncelli sticker. 🥰. It the two front and rear left as you sit on the bike I’m after. Can’t see if they are them sorry. They look in great condition though. 👍

Absolutely love them mate. I wonder if people notice when you’re on them? Was a sad day indeed. Loving the display too. I get funny looks if I leave any of my helmets in the house too long. They live in the porch 😂.
By the way, my mates opening his lock up on Weds so will get some pics of the wheel for you.

Maybe a 400 wheel with twin disc, that's what it's for anyway
