I am right aren’t I that the pull one is the one with the two nuts at the carb end and the black anodised part at the throttle end? It’s the only one that seems to fit the right way for the pull.

Yeh that's the pull one. It adjust at both carb end and screws into grip body with some adjustment. The push one (if you use it) does not have any adjustment, so fits quite tight. The part number for the correct pull cable is 17910 443 611.

Thanks Dave and Steve, really appreciate the response and advice, cheers for the cable pics too. I’m still positive that I’ll be riding it one day 😀😀

Some interesting comments posted. I remember when fickering about trying to get the cables on and saying to myself, what does that push cable do? But you think, well it’s there so it must do something.
Good to know it can be left off, may well be I’ll just leave it off when I come round to reassembly time.
So the million dollar question for anyone in the know, what is the purpose of the push cable?

Hi all, round two of the love hate relationship. First off, the original cable, all oiled etc went in straight away and has fixed the throttle issue. Now, I’m in the process of putting the dogs dinner of a loom back into the headlight and didn’t 5anks enough pics as I’m unsure what the blue and orange female connectors are for? Also the double black female on. I don’t seem to have anything to connect to them, APART from the front indicators and I’ve no idea what the hell they plug into!!! I’d taken tons of pics but missed this off.
Also, a quick question please, on the side are two spade connectors, can’t remember what they’re for either. So so sorry to be so dim but I really did think I’d remember 😂😂
Pics to follow.

Blue and orange are the indicators, the black you see is unused. The spade connectors fit the horn.
