got a job come in a old guy i know had a misunderstanding with a ratchet strap and destroyed three spokes,central wheel conponents sorted me out as they always do ,rebuilt the wheel yesterday but the tyre was to cold so the tyre as been in front of the fire with the dog most of the day.its a old mk2 avon been a long time since i have fitted a crossply even my old stuff i fit modern tyres when needed.plenty of tyre soap and a worm tyre i clamp one side it saves chasing your tail .well all back together .to cold to paint so this week will be mostly welding or sharing the fire with the dog

Yep it's winter, less time riding & more time spent in the garage where at least it's dry. I give the bikes their service, so got the CB250RSD into the garage today. It's a bit easier than the SD, for a start removing the tappet covers means no faffing about to get the rocker cover off It's a bit of a pain that there's no replaceable oil filter, the engine side cover has to be removed to clean a wire gauze. but the balance chain can be done at the same time & it's a better system than the SD, there's a more powerful spring & after releasing the lock nut & letting the spring do it's job, you just push it back one mark to get the correct chin tension Same again next wet day - the RSA
