If I may stray away for a moment from being a bike restoring idiot and put my work hat on (Financial services if you didn't know) and mention a few scams that I have been told to beware of, and make my customers aware of. This time of year particularly, it is anything to do with deliveries.
When you are expecting orders it is so easy to react to a message from say "Royal Mail" with all the logo's, telling you that there is something wrong with either the address they have, the shortage of postage, or just something..... You are then invited to follow the convenient link which is again festooned with the correct logo's and delivery numbers. This often explains there is a tiny fee to pay to sort it out, then invites you to add payment details.......
THERE IS YOUR RED LIGHT !
I have been sent this one. There are many more. If you get a request, go back to where you ordered from and ask them if they know of a problem, NOT the "delivery company".
