I got one for my 400NA many, many years ago. I thought it was a big improvement on the plastic one that was on the bike when I got it (I didn't like that paint scheme either) I've since fitted the later Silvers CX/SD mudguard, but put the old one in the loft - never know if it might come in handy . And the plastic one lives on too, now it's on Gill's RSD.

Looking at the photos I have to say I would rather have the plastic yellow one than the pattern square one - it just follows the lines of the bike more ergonomically

Yep, when I got my 250NB I painted the plastic muddy black, along with the 250 panels & I thought it looked fine but when Gill got the RSD it went on that & the 250 got a Silvers CX/SD mudguard. The yellow paint scheme on the 400 was very well done, probably professional, but one day someone came up to me & said 'that looks like an old bike, what is it?' That was it, I had to make it look like a Superdream & repainted it. It was a pity all the SDs I saw back in the day must have been 400Ns & 250s, so I didn't know the 400NA had different graphics - only realised when the SD forum started up the following year

I know it's "wrong" but I like the plastic mudguard and the yellow paint scheme . Back in the day I did have a 250N with an expensive Dream Machine paint job that looked similar . Paid for by the previous owner before I bought it for £200 and brought it home in my VW Derby .
