So guys does this exhaust look correct to you? It just butts against the head, I'd have thought the copper washer would slide on against the stop and exhaust would go into head slightly.

That’s right. It’s a crush washer that seals when you tighten the exhaust collar.

Aren't there collar pieces that the exhaust collar presses against? They look like half shells. Or is that only on a Motad system? Dennis

That’s only on the Motad ones.

Yikes! Think I'd settle for a pattern pair from classicbikeshop for half the price.

Yikes! Think I'd settle for a pattern pair from classicbikeshop for half the price. At that price so would I - they were far from perfect

Now that I’ve had a bit of time to look and learn Superdreams a wee bit, one of the things I’ve noticed is the asking price of things go from bonkers to quite cheap.
First thing I bought was a starter motor, only one on eBay at the time, jumped in both feet and paid about £70 for it. Seen them since as low as £20.
So now I wait a bit and generally most things eventually appear at a reasonable price.
Also members on here have been very generous and sent me some parts.
