Sorry if its against the rules to not be british here, but as a brand new owner of a 1984 CB400N i couldnt pass it up Please dont crucify me for the modifications done on this bike, as theyre not done by me, and theyll be shortly repaired!

Hi kang, welcome to the forum. That's a nice looking SD, I kinda like those graphics. Still, I'm sure it'll look better when you've played with it 😉

That’s a rare bike in the UK, generally released in Europe only a CB400ND
I like the style of the late wheels - like to see a photo of how the fairing looks from the front
Welcome

At €400 it was a very very good buy in my opinion
The tank decals would be like the NC but I like what the previous owner has done to the tank
First question does the engine number begin CB400NE - 2 or CB400NE -3
Honda did a high power version at 27 bhp and a low power version at 43 bhp
I think yours will be CC400NE - 2
Again I think the white colour was a Scandinavian exclusive

Having had another look at the picture it has a standard side stand which indicates it will probably be full power - the mirrors are original European Honda style (different to the UK ones)
As you explore the bike take care when removing the side panels as the lugs become brittle and easily snap - I would put red rubber grease on the lugs

Ive not seen that many white ones on the internet so yeah i also believe it was a regional exclusive. And what i understood from the old owner when he sold it he said something about 40 horsepower so i think its the high power one. didnt even know they made a low hp 400. Plans so far are finding new gas tank graphics to fit the OEM look and removing the skulls, and also removing the front fairing and rear tray/box, for the time being atleast, im not selling or throwing either of those away anyhoo.

This is how it would have looked If you can’t find any in Finland you could try Image Works - www.bike-stickers.com/homepage.htm - they are slow at replying to emails, sent them a picture then ring them up the next day These are image work decals

If you remove the rear rack you will need a set of grab rails to preserve the integrity of the strength. Good ones are hard to find in the UK although there is a guy selling pattern ones on eBay.uk
Prior to Brexit the best source of quality parts I used was eBay.de so worth looking there
