terryc said something interesting on the derbyshire run, the development bikes were running on to around (I think) 100mph and it seems like theyve been restricted to 75 mph (ish) which would suggest to me that they could be derestricted somehow in the dreaded ECU

terryc said something interesting on the derbyshire run, the development bikes were running on to around (I think) 100mph and it seems like theyve been restricted to 75 mph (ish) which would suggest to me that they could be derestricted somehow in the dreaded ECU 85/90mph was the figure quoted in the article I read ,and the restriction was put in place because of Indian traffic laws ,perhaps they did'nt expect the Meteor/Classic/Hunter to sell as well as they are doing in the rest of the world so maybe upgrades to the ECU could become a thing outside India in the future
