I have a 1981 CB250n and the front brake is not great. I have bled the system, replaced the pads and used a master cylinder repair kit. Could just be my lack of strength but if I pull the lever as hard as I can it slows but not very quickly. Trouble is I can't remember if they were all like this back in the day. Looking at various drawings I noticed that the 1994 Cb250n has a twin piston caliper and was wondering if anyone had tried one, assuming it even fits if course.

XBR500 2x30mm Caliper with it's bracket will fit the CB250N. or there are also other twin pots with "HONDA" on the casting which fit the XBR bracket. That would increase the effective area of the pistons by 30%+ and improve your lever force, for slight extra travel. Assuming you have the standard 14mm master cylinder fitted (no one has swapped it for a cb400n 5/8", as that would make it very wooden)
The disc in the photo was fitted to the swiss CB250NDD / LATE CM400/450t / CB400T 1981 HAWK, but more common on on the 750 /900s 1982 or later in the UK. (not to be confused with the smaller CB400NC discs....
