Ok no problem. Just one more question. š Which part number from the ones you pictured is the A cable. Is it the 611 or 610?

Both cables sent to me were (A) cables which created my wee problem cause I got an (A) cable in a (B) cable bag instead of a (B) cable. Oh my does that make sense, Iām Getty dizzy š¤Ŗ š

I had exactly the same problem last year - see thread "A throttle cables made in Japan" in July and August 2022. I solved it in the end by going to John Oldfields in Southampton with my old cable which needed replacing as it was fraying. He did not have the correct one in stock but got some more out and found one just about the right length. I only live about 30 minutes from John so not a problem going and have bought lots of stuff from him. My bike is a 400A so needed a 17910 443 611 and there seemed to be a lot of confusion over part numbers. John has a list of available parts on his website: www.johnoldfield.co.uk/parse.php?fid=0. Best of luck as I know from my experience last year how difficult it is to get the correct one.

Thanks for that info Paul. Sorry, did not see your thread from 2022. Never heard of John Oldfields before, but looks useful and I am about 45 mins north of there.

John is a great guy and very knowledgeable although not sure how much longer he will be there as he is getting on a bit to say the least! Shop is a bit of a mess but he knows where everything is. Well worth a visit if you live reasonably close. Paul

I just received a NOS pull cable 17910 443 611 from ebay. Perfect as exactly same length as original. Not from the link you gave me Martin, as on the photo the end looked more like the push cable, so decided not to risk it and found another one a couple of pounds more, but well satisfied. Wemoto are taking the 'long' one back, so good service from them. But they still say they have no issues supplying this for many years, Makes me wonder do folk just not bother to tell them and source somewhere else?
