Its Rona's 60th in May, I have treated her to a new bike. The Honda CB125r is too tall for her as are most of the new 125's But the Suzuki GSX S125 is 2 inches lower and fits perfectly. I am keeping her Honda CB125r. Rona piking up her Honda two years ago, now my Honda.

They are huge Mark, so high in the seat..I am 6ft4 with a 33 inside leg and its fine for me.
The CB650r is lower in the seat (810mm), by 5mm.
But...wait for it...the Suzuki GSX S1000 that Rona sat on is 810mm.
Her new bike is 785mm seat height.
This all makes a difference to rider comfort and rider confidence I feel.
When the Honda was bought, they didnt have a GSX 125s in stock to sit on, due to covid restrictions.
Pity, because that would have been the bike for her.
Ps, Cb125r is two years old and 700 miles on it.
Gee.

Here is an update on Rona's bike...Picked it up this morning. I will try to get them in order. In Aberfoyle. I was on the bike with the jacket over it, Rona's old bike CB125r. Not as fast as the Suzuki. A rather lovely GS550...no rust at all. Cost £1000 spent £3500 on getting it like this....This is why we do it.
Rona's bike in the shed...Ooooh, she loves it, so much lower than the CB125r...nearly 2" lower. Enjoy the weather guys, if you are getting it. Gee.

Just the right time to get a new bike - should be plenty of nice riding weather to come
