Hi guys
i am assuming that the rectangular recess on the bottom of the mudguard is fir a reflector? If so can anyone point me in the direction of finding one please?

UK bikes had a blanking plate on the bottom of the mudguard, only European ones had a lower reflector
Best source would be eBay.de

When I first read this I thought what the heck is he on about, there's no space for a reflector on the rear mudguard! Now I know I have another bit shaved off the bike! Seems it was cut down, so the bottom of number plate is the end point. As someone north of the border says 'Every day is a learning day'. As I will probably only ride it in dry weather I'm not too concerned and looks ok with more tyre showing. Actually with all the bits stripped off this bike when I got it I'm surprised it had wheels and a seat. Well to be honest the seat was in a pretty bad state.
