Just a pity there's less power than a 250 SD

Just a pity there's less power than a 250 SD Yes that I guess is a downside , I may arrange a test ride if I’m in the market either way the SD is staying with me , my Kawasaki er5 as been a decent bike over the past 15 years I’ve owned from new bought to commute to work don’t know whether to sell and replace it with an R E , maybe a 4 th shed is needed !!

Yeo, deffo a 4th shed Paul. I had an ER5 years back, great bikes. My lad had a CB500 at the time & we swapped over a few times. I had a slight preference for the looks of the Kwacker, but there seemed to be more CB5s around so I ended up owning a few of those

Get that test ride Paul , I'm still running in my Hunter and its been a while since I had a SD so be interested in your comparisons . At low revs it seems "stronger" than my 27BHP Honda CRF but that might be all it has . I'd have liked it to have had an extra 10 BHP but like its simplicity and looks and had been waiting for them to become available . I took a Meteor out for a test but wasn't a fan of the riding position for me . I have to say a 350 RE will make the ER5 seem like a rocket ship !

My Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is a great bike to ride. It’s what got me into the “retro/classic” bike thing in the first place, after years of riding scooters, sports bikes, adventure bikes etc.
