It started to go down downhill mid year parts getting harder to get or non existent ,as the superdream is never any trouble when run regulary there is not much to talk about and as the weather is s**t its pretending to be a shelf with the t150.so getting stuck in on the xbr500 xs650 matchless kz750 and the hillclimb sprint bike the winter nights are booked .i have needed to make more parts over the last 6 months through cost or cannot get .example the xbr500 with 40000 on the clock was in need of a top end rebuild .i have had all the parts for a while now but someone has been there before me and the washers that hold the barrel down two were missing ,found some not going to tell the cost but bapp bolts 80p pourer and a hour of my time sorted.the xs650 to sort the front brakes how much now has firestorm front discs and blue spot calipers brackets and spaces to make a third of the cost and probably get that back selling the old parts but thats for other forums.aftermarket parts are getting scares one of the carb diaphragms split none on planet earth ended getting another set of carbs. got a daelim 250 engine to rebuild no gasket set available.been chasing a petrol tap for a 600 bandit they snap common fault plenty for sail and will be this time next year unless you are very desperate.running old bikes is getting costly
