Thanks for the b'day wishes , I don't pass by here much nowadays being SD less . Sold my CL350s when I moved , sold my Royal Enfield GT535 for a 500 Trials replica which I have since sold for a CRF250 Rally , I do tend to swap my bikes around ! Stll have a 1982 Suzuki 650 Katana to "replace" the one I had stolen 25+ years ago too and have ideas of getting a Roal Enfield Hunter 350 when they become avaialable - probably slower than a CB250N .....

Happy Birthday Ian! Hope it's been a good one. Got my eye on the Hunter 350 too, plus the same concern about power & weight compared with the 250N

Thanks Ian , I did take a RE Meteor out and the engine is pleasant with plenty of torque but defintely loses interest above 60+mph , for what I "need" it might well be enough but suspect only ownership wil tell me that  . Am bit suspicious they keep testing it only in urban areas but maybe thats all in the hope of getting the hipster , cafe crew onboard ? Think they are hoping to reduce the age of the average RE owner , not sure I'm going to be helping there .....
I've got my name down for a test ride when they have a bike available in my local dealer - will advise
