Not had a problem with throttle cables, could be 'cos my bikes only have the 'A' cables, but I have had problems with clutch cables & when rebuilding my 250 I built my own with one of Venhill's kits. They also do kits for throttle cables plus will manufacture cables to your dimensions & instructions. I had thought of them for brake lines, then they put their prices up, like most of the other P.......... Enough said...I will just brake earlier. Gee. I had a set of brake lines made for SME by brakequip.co.uk/Send them the old ones and they replicate them Worth a look |

I was hoping to report back that the cables from JTS fit perfectly but no, they are far too long again. I will need to return them again for a refund. Not sure where to go from here and I suppose I had better get the lengths from the suppliers before I waste my time ordering some more. 😒 Any ideas would be very gratefully received. Just to remind that it is a 1980 400N. Paul Send them to me, I will order the bike specific ones for you, from them and send them to you, you send me the ones you have, I can use them, you cant. I do have a spare that I could send them. Gee. Will have to wait until I get home at the weekend, I think about £60 to £70 I think but they look period You get the originals back - the reason they prefer them sent is that they angle all the banjos correctly etc |
