I have just bought A&B cables from Wemoto for my 400N but they were far too long. They told me that they have sold "hundreds" with no problem. My A is about 106/99 and the B 105/97 (approximate as hard to measure). Theirs were A 113.5/102 and B 119/109 and they very helpfully put the sizes on their website. They suggested that maybe it had been modified at some stage but I am not aware of this and indeed, it is unlikely that the inner length would be so different. I will be getting a refund but am nervous now about buying the wrong ones again especially as no other supplier seems to put the lengths on their websites. Gee, I see your bike is a Dream and not a Superdream and don't know if they are the same length? Has anyone got the lengths of these cables or has anyone else had the same problem? Please let me know who you would recommend to supply the correct lengths. Thanks, Paul. |

Hi Paul, yes it will fit the SD perfectly.
Its only the numbers that are different, 413 for the Dream and 443 for the SD model. The other numbers are the same.
The markings on the cable are the same as the NOS ones, great price.

Will this make any difference? Paul It will be fine Paul, the carbs are the same dimensions where that counts, its apertures that are different onto the head. The problem with the Dream, well not a problem, the handle bars are higher on the Dream, so if anything the Dream cable with give you more play. That happens with the Clutch Cable a lot, then its tight if you use a SD cable. Gee. |

I think the longer ones are SD cables but for European models where the handlebars are about 2” higher so the cables are that much longer |

Not had a problem with throttle cables, could be 'cos my bikes only have the 'A' cables, but I have had problems with clutch cables & when rebuilding my 250 I built my own with one of Venhill's kits. They also do kits for throttle cables plus will manufacture cables to your dimensions & instructions.

I had thought of them for brake lines, then they put their prices up, like most of the other P.......... Enough said...I will just brake earlier. Gee. |
