Hi all I have joined as I have 2 x CB250n Superdreams, 81 and 83, as projects that I will be working on in the next few months. One I bought as a part restored but has electrical issues and the other an abandoned barn find. I have a RG250 Gamma (85) and ride an R6 - I love bikes! Looking forward to asking your expertise when i get stuck in. Pete   |

Interesting projects! welcome along  Engine/frame No per year.. Model, last 7 approx...for original eng./frame matching +/- 20 say, on the last three digits... -20##### N 1978-79 -21##### NA 1980 -22##### NB 1981 -23##### NC 1983 Is the kick-start retrofitted to the later engine, or is it an earlier N I wonder... |

Blue one CB250N -22 with kickstart W reg 31/03/81
Black one CB250N -22 without kick start waiting on V5 for full details ( frame Reads CB250N-22 5449 ) Y reg

Blue one CB250N -22 with kickstart W reg 31/03/81 Black one CB250N -22 without kick start waiting on V5 for full details ( frame Reads CB250N-22 5449 ) Y reg Great, so it looks like both are CB250NDB, and the blue one has had some full strip engine work done and they have popped in a kickstart mechanisim, and put an "N" clutch cover on to suit... Love the RG, never had one though, only a X7 many moons ago, no handling comparison though Next door had a nice R6 (but it disappeared a couple of years ago, when I was overseas, didn't ask,...) |
