So I decided to fit the rear wheel into my CM250T today and ran across a problem. When I brought this bike it came with brand new front and rear drive sprockets already fitted. The front sprocket has 15 teeth the rear has 41teeth. I have recieved a new chain from David Silver. the invoice says it has 108 links It has in fact only got 103 links The chain does not sit properly on the sprockets and is about 3 inches short. Any ideas on a remedy would be greatly appreciated Dave

Both 520 and 530 chains and sprockets are available for these bikes, you have 530 sprockets and a 520 chain. The D.I.D. chart I have shows 104 links for the 1980 CM250T, which is probably what you have including the split link. If the the chain was the correct width for your sprockets, and seated in the groves properly then from the looking at your picy I'd think you'd be about right
