Hello. My names Roger.
I'm new on here.
I am currently building a cafe racer.
This will be the first question of many.
Can anyone tell me how I remove my seat?
Thanks in advance

When working at the late Smith Meters at Mitcham, I was introduced to a fellow worker whose name was/is Freddy Fox. After I stopped laughing I realized it was not a joke. He must have had to put up with a lot of ribbing, but rarely spoke to me. smiley-sw018

Funnily yes, H.
Anyway, back to the seat.....any advice?
There is a funky looking lock thing with a barrel....do you think I should try the key in it?

Sorry Nick Roger I digress Back to the Seat, my mate had an Ibiza once and what he done was as you say put the key type thing in the locky shaped thing just under the steering wheel turn it towards the front and you should hear a noise, thats the engine. Hopefully there should be three pedals at your feet push the left one down then there should be a stick somewhere to your left push it up and over to the left let the left pedal off a bit while pushing down gently on the one on the right and if done correctly you can then remove your Seat from where you parked it. I hope this helps Nick Roger.
