cleaned the seats etc many times, if you hold it closed with very light pressure it seals fine.
However I cant adjust float height as is a plastic float any ideas chaps. do i need new floats and if so where can they be purchased is it possible to adjust plastic floats warm them up maybe.

I had a problem with a carb overflowing.
After some investigation it turned out to be a hairline crack in the brass overflow pipe in the float bowel.
May be worth a look .
Cheers Graham

There's been a few cases of corroded overflow pipes on here, so definitely a possibility. Do you know the where the float valves came from? Another possibility is poor pattern valves. Silvers has the original, 16155-KFR-70, but expensive at £25 each! We had this problem on our CB125T, but only one carb, and only when the fuel tap was first turned on. Never got round to sorting it, just gave the carb a couple of taps with a spanner before turning the fuel on & it would be fine for the rest of the day - till next time
