Moving on from the “Happy birthday Terry C” post😁 “ Must admit that looks fun Dave; tempting, but I remember going camping in Anglesey this week many years ago & it was getting cold in the evenings, so I think I'll pass. The Interceptor looks tiny with all that luggage on ” Hi Ian yes the Enfield looked dwarfed but it handled fine with no nasty wobbles etc. this weekend wasn’t cold 😀 I’ve bought a new sleeping bag with inner lining if needed plus other lightweight kit I will carry on camping ( that’d be a good name for a film 😂😂 ) for as long as I can arthritus will determine when I stop but just takes me bit longer doing things ie getting up/down actualy comical watching me and my mate Dave putting tents up he hasn’t full use of his right arm😂😂

Good thread idea Dave, although it could be a bit tempting. It's about 5 years since we last went camping & that was in the car. One of the reasons we stopped was because we wanted to travel by bike, not car. With the weather we're having, this week would have been brilliant..........

I’ve changed strategy from using the lardy old Burgman where I could carry anything to now using my Enfield with lighter more compact gear.May drop the top case and use two Lomo 40 litre bags next time out, hopefully do one more trip this year😁
