Hi folks pleasure to be here, since I saw these bikes last week I had to have one and really appreciate the old characterful bikes, and learn how to fix these things as I go! (I ride a Moto Guzzi v7) Anyways i've seen and about to buy a 250n thats been fully renovated over last 12 months for £1799 agreed price. Unsure if this is a good price ? Here is the info and pics...the gent seems like a real nice passionate fellow. "Up for sale is my classic Honda CB250N superdream. This was bought as an original project 12 months ago from an elderly gentleman and has undergone an extensive structural, mechanical & electrical renovation to bring her back to life and up to standard. The bike has been stripped back and each aspect of her has been inspected, assessed and renovated, where required. Comes with a clean MOT until March 2022 with NO advisories. The only aspect of the renovation left to consider is the paintwork and there on in lies the dilemma. Some may wish to strip back, re paint & decal, however, the purists amongst us would argue she needs to be left alone. I have chosen to keep the paintwork and decals original, as I believe it reflects her life but the choice is ultimately yours. There is too much to mention, in terms of work but it has all been done professionally at a cost of over £1000. She looks great, starts, runs and stops perfectly."

Hi Darren, welcome to the forum, that looks a tidy bike. Everybody's different & for me, I like a bike to be in good condition, look tidy & be recognisable for what it is, and that ticks those boxes so I think it's a fair price, others may have a different opinion. I presume you've had a test ride & it runs ok? The 250 carbs can give problems, the small idle jets get blocked if the bikes been left standing a long time & can be a pain to clean out, but once sorted they're reliable. I'd also check for rust in the tank – another problem if they're left standing a long time

Hi Darren
Newbie like yourself, welcome to the forum
Can I ask a question, did you buy this of ebay as sure I saw it on there a few weeks ago
Looks tidy and I would say priced about right, I have seen ones go for a lot more in same condition, there was one on ebay no where near concours as paintwork was scabby and the person was asking 3.5K
